Research and Mapping:

Research and map existing digital skills assessment frameworks, tools and practices at regional, national and European level. The analysis will identify good practices, existing gaps and opportunities for improving the assessment of digital competences in lower secondary education.

Teacher Training and School Piloting

Train project staff and teachers and pilot the framework and platform in lower secondary schools across five countries: Italy, Greece, Spain, Cyprus and Serbia. The piloting activities will involve 250 students and 50 teachers.

Co-creation with Stakeholders

Organise co-creation workshops with teachers, students, school staff, digital education experts and policymakers. Their input will help shape an ethical, inclusive and effective AI-powered assessment methodology that responds to the real needs of schools and learners.

 

Evaluation, Optimisation and Wider Uptake

Evaluate the piloting results and improve the assessment framework and platform based on feedback, student performance, engagement data and the accuracy of the AI-supported assessment process. The final results will be shared with schools, education authorities, policymakers and other stakeholders to support their wider adoption and mainstreaming across Europe.

Framework and Platform Development

Develop a multilingual AI-powered Digital Skills Assessment Framework and an interactive digital platform. These tools will support teachers in assessing students’ digital competences, providing meaningful feedback and monitoring student performance.
